Class:   "FUN TIMES AGILITY" CLASS
Start Date: April 23rd, 2009
Day & Time:     Thursday evenings, Two Classes Available: 6:30pm - 7:30pm or 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Duration:  4 Consecutive Weeks (every Thursday evening)
Cost: $135
Registration: Full payment in advance with a credit card is required in order to reserve a spot (Visa or MasterCard )
Cancellation: This class is NON-REFUNDABLE
Max Enrollment: 10 dogs
Prerequisites: Must have completed Basic Obedience (exceptions made with trainer approval)
Other Requirements: Must have current DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations (please provide proof of current vaccinations before the first night of class). No aggressive dogs please.

DESCRIPTION:
FINALLY!  A “just for fun” agility class offered in downtown Seattle!  Our own training and behavior specialist, Julie Forbes is now offering agility classes for you and your dog to team up and exercise your bodies and minds together.

Using props such as jumps, A-frame ramps and tunnels, you and your dog will be challenged to maneuver through, up and over various obstacles using teamwork and communication.

This is NOT a competitive agility class.  Dogs of all levels of confidence and physicality are welcome.

ABOUT THE TRAINER:
Julie Forbes graduated from the University of Vermont in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She has worked as a veterinary technician at Heritage Hill Vet Clinic in Medfield, Massachusetts and has also worked at All the Best Pet Care here in Seattle, where she became interested in animal nutrition and the value of natural foods. Julie worked as a trainer with the Academy of Canine Behavior in Bothell, WA for three years teaching classes, training dogs and assessing behavioral problems. As a Training & Behavior Specialist, Julie has her own business, Sensitive Dog, where she visits people and their animals in their home for behavioral evaluations and obedience training. Additionally, Julie teaches classes and runs a Board & Train Program at The Barking Lounge. Julie even has her own dog talk radio show here in Seattle! Her show, "The Dog Talk Show - An Evolved Perspective on Life with Dogs" airs Wednesdays from 2pm - 3pm on Alternative Talk 1150 AM. You can also listen to her show live online at 1150 KKNW .
